I aim to build an approachable, friendly and relatable rapport with tutees during sessions.

Teaching Approach:Ĭreative Writing, as a subject, is about the development of key skills, rather than the learning of information. I am currently training to become a secondary teacher at the University of Strathclyde. I have previous experience in one-to-one tuition, group writing workshops as well as experience working with classes as part of a creative writing initiative in schools across Glasgow. I have been fully checked by Disclosure Scotland and deemed fit to work with children and vulnerable groups. Please note that I have very limited experience in scriptwriting and screenplay. Whilst I specialise in poetry, I am also competent and qualified in teaching children’s literature, fiction and creative non-fiction. I have had poetry published online, as well as in two printed anthologies.

I am an English, Journaism and Creative Writing graduate, Creative Writing postgraduate and trainee English teacher at the University of Strathclyde.
